About Dental Bench
Dental Bench is a UK supplier of dental instruments, laboratory tools and chairside consumables, and a trading style of Toolsmith Ltd — a company registered in England and Wales and based in Birmingham. It launched in 2026 as the dental-specialist arm of the Toolsmith group, stocks 125 products from its own Birmingham warehouse, and sells to dental practices, laboratories, hospitals, dental schools and students in the UK and worldwide. The clinical instruments are CE-marked Class I medical devices under EU MDR 2017/745.
What does Dental Bench sell?
125 products across eight instrument families, priced from £2.99 to £171.99. Everything is stocked, photographed and described in-house — there are no catalogue placeholders and no lines we have not handled.

Dental Bench is a trading style of Toolsmith Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16520777, VAT number GB497504454. The registered office is 39 Heather Road, Small Heath, Birmingham B10 9TE, United Kingdom. Toolsmith Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller (ZC147961).
The company was founded by Khurram Yaseen, who has spent more than 15 years in the precision-instruments trade and leads the Toolsmith group. He selects the ranges personally and signs off the editorial on this site — his profile page sets out that background and the manufacturer relationship in full.
Where does Dental Bench ship from?
From our own stock in Birmingham, United Kingdom. We are not a drop-shipper — in-stock lines sit on real shelves, which is what makes same-day dispatch possible. Orders placed before 14:00 UK time, Monday to Friday are picked, packed and dispatched the same working day.
UK delivery is £2.95 by Royal Mail Tracked 48 in 2–3 working days and free on orders over £30; express is £6.99 for next working day. We ship internationally to the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and most Commonwealth countries via DPD International or FedEx International Priority. Where the destination supports it, import duties are collected at checkout so the parcel clears customs with no charge on arrival. Full detail is on our shipping & delivery page.
Are Dental Bench instruments regulated?
Yes. The clinical instruments we sell are CE-marked Class I medical devices under EU MDR 2017/745, manufactured under an ISO 13485:2016 medical-device quality management system, with IBC Sweden acting as EU Authorised Representative (EUDAMED SRN PK-MF-000033302). The manufacturer also holds ISO 9001:2015 and REACH compliance.
Not everything we sell is a medical device, and we do not pretend otherwise: novelty keepsakes and chairside accessories — keyrings, bib holders, holding chains — are not medical devices and are labelled as such on their own product pages. We never CE-claim them.
Every certificate number, issuer and validity period is published on our compliance page, which is the authoritative version. Copies of the supporting documentation are available to verified trade-account customers and regulators on request.
Who does Dental Bench sell to?
Dental practices, laboratories, hospitals, dental schools and group purchasing organisations buy from us on trade accounts — which include free UK Tracked 24 delivery on orders over £100 ex-VAT, shipping invoiced monthly rather than paid at checkout, and palletised delivery on UK orders over £2,000 ex-VAT.
We also sell single units at retail, with no minimum order, so a dental student can buy exactly the instrument they need. Our student instrument kit guide sets out what is worth owning personally and what to leave to the school.
Instruments in unbroken factory packaging can be returned for a full refund within 30 days. Once a seal is broken an instrument cannot be restocked for hygiene reasons, so opened items are non-returnable for change of mind — faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are a separate matter and remain fully returnable. How does Dental Bench source its instruments?
Direct from the manufacturer, PIK PAK Industries — an ISO 13485:2016 certified medical-device facility in Sialkot, Pakistan — rather than through intermediaries. Khurram Yaseen maintains the relationship personally, visits the production floor and selects ranges first-hand. That is why the specifications and compliance notes on this site are written from familiarity with the instruments rather than copied from a supplier sheet.
