1. Osteotomes: shaping the site
Osteotomes are the core of a sinus-lift set — tapered instruments, usually concave-tipped, advanced in increasing diameters to prepare and gently elevate. They come straight for accessible sites and offset for the posterior maxilla where access is tight, which is why sets pair both. 2. Compression and condensing instruments

- Diameter markings — clear, durable laser markings you can read mid-procedure.
- Cassette fit — instruments seated and retained, not rattling loose.
